Ingvald is a passionate design leader with over fifteen years of corporate and consulting experience. He lives and leads by placing communication, creativity and confidence at the core of his work.
As a partner at Pull, he heads up the Strategy practice. He leverages his multicultural and cross disciplinary background to help companies design and commercialize innovative products, services and ventures.
He has created and implemented design thinking methodologies at companies such as BMW Designworks and PepsiCo, where he also led multidisciplinary teams and global projects.
Ingvald is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design with a degree in product design, and holds numerous awards and patents.
He has held speaking engagements at Harvard and USC, judged design awards and mentored at UCLA.

John Sundermeyer is the Design Director and founder of Pull, where he helps companies bring the future into the present. Since 2012, John has driven the firm's growth from its infancy to work with some of the world’s most daring companies, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50.
John has served as a mentor to USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering Start-Up Garage, a strategic partner of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, and guest teacher at Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design.
Prior to Pull, John spent more than a decade working as a designer and innovation consultant for an array of global brands, including LG Electronics, Nissan, Avid Technology, Hamilton Medical, Patagonia, and Pepsi.
Sundermeyer is a graduate of Brunel University in London, and holds a degree in Industrial Design and Technology. His work has been recognized by numerous awards and publications.
Outside of Pull, John likes to spend his time underwater.

Project Based Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role:

Pull is seeking project based senior graphic designer with a unique style and sharp eye for detail to assist with a refresh of the firm’s brand. You will be honing our corporate identity and designing iconography, infographics, and other static and animated visual elements that engage and excite our stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to work with a rapidly-growing firm in the innovation market. The position is flexible and may be partially completed from home.
· Develop new visual identity and corporate identity guide that reflects the voice and tone of our new brand
· Provide creative support for branding, in collaboration with the Directors and marketing team
· Redesign Pull’s website, hosted in Squarespace, to be implemented by Pull’s staff
· Create a variety of visuals for company website and social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn
· 5+ years’ experience in a brand design role
· Ability to refine and detail existing visuals to align with new brand guidelines
· A strong design background and portfolio
· Strong understanding of brand design principles, graphic systems, typography, and visual composition
· Unique illustration style for iconography and infographics
· Interest and experience in motion graphics
